Join Live Wild to playfully learn a range of basic survival skills that are great for confidence and resilience when camping and hiking… and super handy for the end of the world!
We’ll cover how to stay warm and dry with fire and shelter, safely gather water, and look after yourself and each other in the wild.
The day includes:
– An introduction to fire: Try your hand at several fire lighting techniques and learn how to keep your survival fire going.
– Finding safe water: Learn one of the most crucial survival skills.
– Knife skills: Safely learn fundamental knife skills to process all your firewood and whittle essential camp items such as tent pegs.
– Tarps & knots: Need to put up a shelter in the wild? We’ll guide you through it, including several handy knots.
– Camouflage: Blending into the woods can be handy in lots of situations, not just the end of the world! Try out materials and methods for blending into the landscape.
