Guided Walk: See the Heather Blooming
Join us on a walk to enjoy the sights and sounds of the moorland in summer.

By now the heather should be in full bloom, so join us to enjoy the purple-tinged moorland. This comfortably paced walk will involve some uphill stretches taken at a speed to suit everyone in the group. Boots recommended.
This walk is 5 miles and will take approx. 3 hours.

Meet at the Marsden offices (Information Room The Old Goods Yard Station Road, Huddersfield HD7 6DH)
- Suitability for children
Children who are comfortable with the distance are welcome.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable clothing for the changeable weather in Marsden and sturdy footwear. Bring plenty to drink and snacks.

Dogs on leads are welcome. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the walk so we can cover relevant safety information. Suggested donation of £3 which goes towards running these walks and restoring the moorland.
