Come and help our Create & Craft volunteers in their final poppy preparations for our upcoming Remembrance display at this drop-in session.
Our crafters will be making simple felt poppies or crochet versions and you can help by adding your creations to our Remembrance display. No experience required for felt poppies, if you would like to try a crochet version and have your own hook please bring it along.
Call into the Bookshop, upstairs in the Long Barn café, any time between 10.30am & 12.30pm, no booking required. This sessions is free, admission charges apply.
If the weather is wet, why not call in and enjoy this cosy space, where you can also browse our selection of second-hand books? Afterwards why not make a day of it and pop down to the café for some lunch or continue your visit throughout the gardens and parkland.
Return for a visit in November to see your art work in place at our reflective Remembrance event and learn more about the stories of Wentworth Castle Gardens during wartime. Please see separate event listing for dates and details.
