Easter egg hunt at Wentworth Castle Gardens
Are you team bunny or team egg? This spring, treat the whole family to a world of adventure on our Easter trail. As well as our popular garden trail we also have a quieter trail in the parkland suitable for people and pooches too!

Make your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. The trail takes place between 28th March - 8th April 2026 from 10am with last entry at 3.30pm, so come along and explore beautiful Wentworth Castle Gardens.
Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg. Please note last egg collection time of 4pm, if you arrive later in the day you can collect your egg at the start of your trail.
*Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.
This year we have two trail options to discover at Wentworth Castle Gardens. Our gardens trail has new locations to explore as well as the return of family favourites like bunny hoopla. If you would prefer a quieter experience why not try our parkland trail? Older explorers and pooch pals may prefer this option too!
Choose your favourite trail, or return another day to try both, whatever suits you best for your family adventure. Who will win, team bunny or team egg, you decide!

Buy your trail tickets at the visitor welcome building in the carpark then head to the gazebo opposite the play area to choose your trail and start your adventure.

Dress for an outdoor adventure with your best explorer shoes!
- Accessibility
The gardens trail is suitable for most pushchairs and wheelchairs but the parkland has no hard standing paths. Please visit the accessibility page of our website for more information.
- Other
Whilst this Easter trail is aimed at families, everyone is welcome to enjoy it. Our parkland trail in particular can be discovered by dog lovers of all ages.
