Bountiful berries and autumn hues at Thurstaston Common

The lush purple and golden yellows of the heathland flowers are fading fast but a new and beautiful season dawns here on the Wirral.

An abundant harvest

Blackberries are abundant this year draped from the brambles high into the trees mixing with the vibrant reds of the Rowan and Whitebeam berries. The work of all the insects and bees over the summer months pollinating all the flowers becomes apparent as natures harvest comes to fruition.

Views and hues

As the nights draw in you can enjoy an evening stroll and watch the sun set  across the estuary and enjoy its fading light against the wonderful golden autumnal hues of the leaves.
