From short meanders to longer routes taking in the riverside. Stretch your legs and spot the ample wildlife in the furthest and quietest parts of the estate. You are welcome to use the car park free of charge, for safety, avoid parking in passing places, on embankments or close to neighbouring drives.

A wonderful short walk through the larch woods. Beautiful all year round but with the added bonus of a stunning carpet of bluebells in the woods during spring.

Beningbrough Newton walk

Stretch your legs and enjoy a gentle walk around Beningbrough’s wider estate taking in the historic parkland. As well as the option to take in the bluebells in the spring, you can also include a loop round Newton village making this a really flexible walk, depending on how far you want to wander on your adventures.

Take on the challenge of a circular walk Beningbrough's wider parkland, taking in the river along the way.

A walk around Newton-on-Ouse from Beningbrough Hall

Enjoy a walk that will take you around Newton-on-Ouse, exploring some of the village's past and looking at clues to its close relationship to the estate. This can be added to the parkland walks when you reach Newton Lodge, otherwise follow the entrance road to start from the gates.
