50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾
To check off your 50 things play list, we have scheduled a number of activities throughout the week. Pick up a free scrapbook when you visit or drop into the stables shop if you're looking for more kit to help you explore.
What's on when
Saturday 27 May - go on a barefoot walk - this is brand new for Beningbrough if you want to be one of the first to try it.
Sunday 28 May - hunt for bugs.
Monday 29 & Wednesday 31st May - plant, it grow it, eat it.
Friday 2 June - discover what lives in a pond.
Sunday 4 June - build a raft (for the paddling pool - not life size!)

Grab a free Explorer Backpack
Unique to Beningbrough, are the series of explorer backpacks which you can pick up from the hall every day from 12 noon (on a first come first served basis). Try your hand at bird spotting, bug hunting, spot the walled garden produce and how to use a map and compass.
Pick up the brand new trail
Calling all nature detectives. Get outdoors and closer to nature by following the brand new and interactive trail. Pick up your magnifying glass and special bookmark ruler at admissions and adventure outside....to see what you can see. Launching on Saturday 3 June.
Refresh and refuel
If you need a break for a snack or a meal, the café has lots of delicious, wholesome food on offer for all the family. If the weather is good, grab a sandwich and a children’s meal pack and head for the sunshine on the south lawn.
