Volunteer at Biddulph Grange Garden

Volunteer gardeners in the Dahlia Walk

Volunteers are vital to Biddulph Grange Garden. Take part in various activities to meet new people whilst maintaining a historic Victorian property.

Why Volunteer?

Gardening, guiding or working in the shop are just a few ways that you can take part in volunteering at Biddulph Grange Garden. By volunteering you can join a team of over 100 volunteers who are central to the day-to-day maintanance of the property, be active in the community and make new friends. You don't need to have any prior skills, just a willingness to take part and some time to spare.

" I volunteer for the National Trust as I see the organisation as a vital guardian of our Heritage. I am very interested in History and have followed developments at The Grange over the years and now I'm involved in telling its unique story to others."
- Kevin Dale, Volunteer Geological Gallery Guide

How to get involved

Getting involved is easy, just pop in to see us at Biddulph Grange or give our Volunteering Manager a call on 01782 517999 to find out more. We'll then ask you to complete our registration form (which we'll send to you) and send it back to us. Then we'll get in touch to arrange a time and date to meet you in person and talk about volunteering here in more detail. We can also discuss your interests and have a look around the garden to find a role that is most suitable to you.
