Top tips to help you plan your festive day out
We want you to make the most of your visit to Blickling Estate over our busy Christmas weekends, so here are a few tips to help your day run smoothly...
To help make your visit enjoyable, everyone (including NT members) will need a timed ticket to get into the house. Either book online and collect from visitor reception on day of entry, or buy on a first-come-first-served basis upon arrival at visitor reception. Please make sure your tickets are issued at visitor reception. Once they're gone, they're gone!
Queues are inevitable at peak times, so please be patient upon arrival. We'd suggest you visit Monday to Friday to avoid busy periods. Car parks will close when the event reaches capacity and will only re-open if space becomes available. Parking attendants will remain on hand to help you when the event wraps up at 6.30pm.

To make the most of the garden of lights, please wrap up warmly. If you're getting chilly, just head to one of our eateries where you'll find festive treats such as mulled wine and hot chocolate. However if you wish to remain in the garden, warming refreshments are available in both The Temple and Walled Garden via cash payment only.
The lights are seen at their best after dark and to keep you safe, we've invested in additional lighting, but we also recommend bringing a torch with you for any areas with low light.
