Step into a festive Christmas at Blickling Estate. See inside the decorated House and visit in the evening to see the magical Garden of Lights at one of Norfolk's most special places.

A Mouse’s Christmas at Blickling Hall

Saturday 29 November until Sunday 4 January.

House open 11am – 3pm, last entry is at 2.30pm. Closed on 24 and 25 December.

Wander through beautifully decorated rooms filled with traditional Christmas sparkle, and enjoy a cosy, family-friendly atmosphere. This year, our decorations have a delightful twist: mice! These charming little characters are busy decking the halls, hanging garlands and preparing for the big day. Spot the mice characters and look out for the clues they hold to help solve the mystery of who stole Lord Lothian’s cheese…?

Whether you're coming with kids, grandparents, or friends, there’s something for everyone – from hands-on activities to a peaceful reading nook where you can snuggle up with a festive story.

So wrap up warm, bring your sense of wonder, and join us for some twinkling festive cheer and a touch of mouse-sized mischief!

Enjoy a spot of Christmas shopping in the shop or pop into the second-hand bookshop in the Farmyard to browse a selection of specialist books. Tuck into delicious seasonal food and warming drinks in the Stables and Muddy Boots cafés. Garden, shops and cafés open 10am – 4pm, last orders in the cafés at 3.30pm.
