October half-term holiday fun at Bodiam Castle

Wildlife and witches trail
Join us at Bodiam Castle this October half term on our exciting new autumn trail 'wildlife and witches' as we set the children off on a hunt around the castle and grounds to win a prize.
• £2.50 per trail, including a prize
• Daily from Mon 21 Oct to Sun 3 Nov 2019, 11am to 3pm
• Suitable for children aged 5 - 11 years
Have-a-go at archery
Have a go at the ancient sport of archery, in the grounds of Bodiam Castle. Between Sat 26 Oct - Sun 4 Nov, 11am-4pm. £3 for 6 arrows. Suitable for children and adults.
Storytelling at the castle
There will be storytelling taking place in the castle towers, throughout the day, between Sat 26 Oct – Sun 3 November. Check at Visitor Reception on arrival for times and meeting points.
British Wildlife Photography Awards exhibition 2019
There is fun for all the family as the BWPA exhibition comes to Bodiam Castle. Make your way around the castle and head into the towers to see inspiring photographs of wildlife that can be found around Britain.
For our younger visitors do pick up the free questions and answers trail, to go alongside the exhibition, which is available from Visitor Reception.
Also you can pick up a ‘Top Photo Spots’ map to help you find the best spots around the grounds to become Bodiam’s next best wildlife photographer.

If you'd rather just enjoy the fresh air you can take a stroll through the grounds and even tick off some of your 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾. And don't forget that if the weather's not on your side, the Caste-view cafe and Wharf tea-room are open all week for tasty treats.
