Find your way around

Winterfell Festival at Castle Ward, Co. Down

With Northern Ireland in the midst of #GOTTerritory, there are plenty of places in the area to eat, drink and set-jet for those wanting a longer stay and a more in-depth Westeros experience.

After a long day spent in the world of the Starks, head away from the North and find a spot as cushy as the Red Keep to lay your head for the night.

There is a vast range of places to stay in the local area, from 4 star hotels like the Slieve Donard Resort and Spa in Newcastle, to B&Bs like The Cuan, where the cast of GoT stayed during their time in Castle Ward. Places to Eat

After a long day in Winterfell, you'll almost be hungry enough for a stallions heart, but hopefully you'll find a place for pidgeon pie and some lemon cakes.

There is a wide range of dining options in the area from Michelin reccommended restaurants to local bistros. See if any take your fancy and if you're staying locally, check out what Strangford and Downpatrick have to offer.

Strangford restaurant The Cuan offers you a chance to really go the whole hog and indulge in a Game of Thrones themed dinner at one of their banquets.
