Take a tour
A guided tour of the mansion offers an insight into the Ward family life, highlighting both architectural styles. Garden tours take in the exotic Sunken Garden containing many historical garden features and an abundance of blooms. Special interest tours take a closer look at the untold life and stories behind Castle Ward's exterior.

Take time to browse in our gift shop to pick up a souvenir. Located in the stable yard you'll find many items made by extremely talented local craftspeople that have been carefully selected for you to purchase.
Our secondhand bookshop is run by a group of knowledgeable volunteers and their expertise and the range of subjects on offer guarantees a memorable experience during your visit.
Relax in the quaint surroundings of the tea-room where you can tuck in to in a menu of light refreshments - scones, soup and sandwiches. There are up to 70 covers although out-of-hours catering is available.
