Meet skilled artisans as they bring Roman crafts to life through a series of fascinating demonstrations and hands-on experiences.

Slip into a shadowy world of restless spirits, cryptic prophecies and ancient beliefs about death and the afterlife for a whole month of Roman spookiness with Ghosts of Roman Britain. Explore how the Romans viewed the supernatural, uncover eerie stories from the past, and journey through a realm where the living and the dead were never far apart.

Saturday 24 October - Sunday 1 November: Join us for a brand new half-term challenge as part of Ghosts of Roman Britain. Follow the clues and tackle challenges inspired by ancient Roman funeral rites and memorial traditions and help six restless spirits cross into the afterlife.

Make your Monday visit go further with a guided tour of Chedworth Roman Villa, included with admission. Discover the villa's rich history and hidden stories on a fascinating one-hour tour. Available every Monday until 26 October at 11am, 12 noon, 1pm and 2pm.
