As the magnificent autumn colour begins its transformation of towering trees in the arboretum and the kitchen garden provides another bountiful harvest, celebrate the very best of what this vibrant season has to offer with a half-term full of pumpkins, garden activities and unforgettable moments.

Have you got what it takes to be a Dyffryn gardener? Have a go at some autumnal garden jobs this half term and see if you could keep up. We've got 5 tasks for you to complete. Help our gardeners to rake up piles of beautiful autumnal leaves (and jump in if no one's watching) and identify some trees by their bark and shape. We'll keep you busy all day, just don't forget your wellies!

Get creative and create your very own pumpkin ready for Halloween this autumn. We will have stencils, carving sets and helpers on hand to get you started.
2 November, 12 noon to 3pm.
£2 per child. Normal admission prices also apply.
Get back to nature this autumn as you cook on the campfire in the arboretum. Pick up your s'more kit from the Snack Shack and toast your own marshmallows to squish between two delicious chocolatey biscuits.Gluten free biscuits and vegetarian marshmallows will be available.
