Victoria sponge cake

A large portion of our produce comes directly from our Kitchen Gardens to be used in the cafe.

The Gardens cafe is nestled by the peaceful nant bran stream, next to the children's play area, offering a selection of delicious cakes and hot meals.

Situated before the pay point it is an ideal spot to enjoy a light snack or meal after a stroll around the gardens. We also have a wide range of gluten-free (GF) options which change seasonally, so just ask our friendly catering team for more information.

Our autumn menu

Breakfast (served until 11.30am)

  • Toasted teacake


  • Ham and pickled cabbage
  • Cheese and chutney
  • Chicken Tikka
  • Egg and truffle oil mayonnaise and cress

Light meals

  • Jacket potato with various fillings 
  • Homemade cheese and leek Welsh rarebit
  • Soup (changes regularly) using as much kitchen garden produce as possible

Zero mile produce

We are working hard to become a carbon neutral site. Lots of the dishes on our menu are made using fruits, vegetables and herbs from our Kitchen Gardens. From edible flower salads and beetroot scones to green bean soup we have an array of delicious dishes on offer that change seasonally.
