Off-site Engagement Officer
£15,066 per annum, fixed term until 2/10/16. Closing date 25 April.
As an Off-Site Engagement Officer, you’ll be an ambassador for everything we do at the National Trust, and you’ll share your excellent knowledge with members of the public, in a way that introduces us to new audiences, and engages with people who may not be aware of us and the benefits of being a member. Working alone, in community locations, such as farmers’ markets, town centres and country shows, you’ll be asked to confidently sell membership, talk to people about our thriving holiday cottage business, as well as volunteering opportunities and local events happening all year round.
You’ll also be responsible for answering queries, talking about the amazing work we are doing, promoting local projects and our national strategy.
£7.73 per hour, 16 hours per week, fixed term until 2/10/16. Closing date 25 April.
As a Conservation Assistant, you’ll be working with a great housekeeping team in an incredible place, helping with the day-to-day cleaning and care of the collections. No detail will go unnoticed, and you’ll keep a keen eye on everything from the environmental conditions in a room, to signs of wear and tear. You’ll keep accurate records too.
In this visitor facing role, we’d love you to talk to visitors about the work you’re doing, and the collections we have. You'll also be part of the wider Dyffryn team of employees and volunteers, helping to cover where necessary.
£7.20 per hour, fixed term until 30/10/16. Closing date 25 April.
As the Facilities Assistant, you'll assist with the day to day cleanliness and presentation the National Trust’s buildings and outdoor spaces at Dyffryn. You’ll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor maintenance ensuring all our facilities are kept in good working order. Your primary role will be to maintain the presentation of the visitor facilities both indoors and out.
Duties such as cleaning the toilet facilities, clearing litter and emptying the bins will form a core part of the role. You’ll ensure the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a ‘customer comes first’ attitude. General maintenance work and helping within other teams will also form part of your role.
