What's on this half term?

Nature spotter trial 26 May-3 June

Our wisteria are bursting into bloom and flower beds are full of stunning displays this May Half Term. Follow our multi-sensory nature trail and take in the colours, smells and buzzing sounds of our enormous gardens, discovering different types of leaves to seeking out textures and colours inside the mansion.

Garden games 26 May-3 June

Try your hand at croquet on the lawn and challenge your family and friends to a game of boules or qoits in the sunken garden.

The log stack- open every day

Get wild in our new wild play area, covering half an acre and nestle din the arboretum you can walk along balance beams, jump along stepping stones and enjoy a picnic on our chainsaw art benches. 

10 perch allotment- open every day

Visit our new 10 perch allotment to see how to grow vegeatbles in a small garden. A perch is a unit of measurement and this style of veg growing was popular in the 1910s. It uses successional planting to get the most growing space out of an allotment.
