The Birmingham National Trust Association was founded in 1991 and at present has a vibrant membership drawn from Birmingham and the surrounding area.

Having created over the years a welcoming and sociable group of like-minded people to promote and support the work of the Trust.

We always welcome new members. If you are already a member of the National Trust, or a National Trust Volunteer Card holder, we hope that you will wish to join our group. The annual subscription is £7 per person or £13 for two people living at the same address payable by standing order. Our membership year runs from 1st December to 30th November the following year. New members are welcome to join at any time.

Throughout the year, we enjoy a programme of day trips to National Trust properties and other interesting venues, plus a medley of events which are well supported and greatly valued by our members. By participating in these events, you will be helping us to raise valuable funds for the National Trust, whilst at the same time having fun. On average, we raise around £2,000 each year to support our local and other National Trust

Our various activities include:

  • Monthly morning and afternoon talks during the Winter months.
  • Nine or ten coach outings a year.
  • Up to three holiday in the UK a year
  • Local visits using public transport.
  • A strolling group that meets every month.
  • Christmas lunch
