BBC Countryfile Live in association with the National Trust has now finished for another year. Here's a taster of what we got up to at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire and all-new location Castle Howard in North Yorkshire.

As usual, we were at the heart of the celebrations with fun activities for everyone. Take part in fascinating debates, sample our seasonal produce and get stuck into our 50 things to do before you’re 11 3/4.

Coming to Countryfile Live? If you're a fan of the countryside, this is the perfect opportunity to join expert panellists for series of thought-provoking debates on current issues affecting rural Britain. There'll also be talks by a few famous faces, including adventurers and passionate conservationists.

Join us as at the Farmyard Cookery Theatre to see live demonstrations from some of the country’s best-loved chefs, and pick up some handy hints to use in your own kitchen.

Yoga and meditation sessions

Take time out to relax at a yoga or meditation session on Sunday 4 August. Classes in Hatha yoga, chair-based yoga and mindful mediation will take place throughout the day, and you can sign up at the Green House reception desk. No need to bring all the gear just show up wearing something comfortable.

For a truly wild adventure, head down to the magical ‘50 things to do before you’re 11¾’ woodland where kids (big and small) can get stuck in to exploring nature. Whether you’re trying your hand at den building, peering under logs on the hunt for bugs or getting closer to the clouds with a spot of tree climbing, our team will be on hand to show you tips and tricks for making the most of the great outdoors.

Join us at Castle Howard 

Join us for the first Countryfile Live at Castle Howard, where we’ll be exploring how we can do more to look after the countryside. We’ll be hearing from nature experts and celebrities and hosting a packed schedule of debates covering all the big topics, including climate change, nature and wellbeing and connecting kids to the natural world. And the Wainwright Golden Beer Book Prize will recognise the very best writing on the outdoors, nature and travel.
