Located just off the South Downs Way this is a great location for an overnight stop or a location to escape from it all for a few days. It is host to wonderful walking and cycling routes, Slindon is a great place to explore and get back to nature. Visitors are welcomed arriving on foot, bikes or on horses.

Pitches

There are 16-20 pitches, depending on size of tents in the camping field.

Facilities

  • Showers and toilets are located just a few metres away in the camping barn.
  • Guests can also make use of the drying room, pay phone, kitchen and dining area.
  • Please note that the site has no electricity so there are no fridge-freezer facilities.

Nearby plants and flowers to spot

'Gumber Wood’, the footpath from the hill above the cottages to Stane Street offers bluebells, moschatel, early purple orchids, nettle-leaved bellflower and celandines to name but a few.
