Lake District camping

Whether you're a camper, glamper or campervanner, we've got a perfect spot for you in the Lake District. Camp by the lakeshore or babbling beck, in grassy meadows or on pretty woodland pitches.

The Lake District is one of the UK's top camping and walking destinations whatever the season and whatever the weather. With lots of weather-proof options, Autumn-time can be a great time to visit with invigorating walks, and cosy evenings around a woodburner or tucked up in your picturesque campervan spot.

Our sites are perfectly placed for walking, cycling, climbing, running and boating. It’s best to plan ahead as some places need to be booked in advance. You can check out what’s open in the Lake District by scrolling to the bottom of this page. If you can't decide where to go, our campsite staff love to share their passion for the Lake District – just ask.

Your campsite fees help us to look after the Lakes, so thank you for choosing to stay with us.

What's new at our Lake District campsites?

We have new plus pods at Eskdale and Wasdale which provide an extra level of comfort. At Low Wray, all our camping pods now come with electricity as standard and we’ve more campervan pitches with electricity too. Our active base at Low Wray is also open again for bike, SUP and kayak hire.
