Camp in the great outdoors in our lakeside campsite setting.

This spacious site on the shores of Windermere has a wide range of pitch locations to choose from. You can pitch your tent on the waterfront or lake view area, or settle in the woodland or meadow. All parts of the site are linked by meandering paths and a footbridge over the stream that flows through the site down to the lake.

Cars are parked in areas dotted around the site away from the tents to guarantee safety and a peaceful setting.

Arriving by bus, bike or boot?

We want to encourage sustainable travel to our campsites, so if you arrive by sustainable means and won't need a parking space, you can take advantage of our car-free discount of £5 per pitch per night - just ask when you arrive on site and this will be deducted from the total cost of your stay. The discount applies to anyone who has booked and paid the normal full pitch price (not group rates).

Advanced bookings only

There is a 3 night minimum stay on Bank Holidays and a 2 night minimum stay for all advanced bookings.
Whilst we are reopening our campsites gradually and safely in line with government guidance, we are not able to accept campers who have not booked in advance. This is to ensure that we can manage numbers on site and allow for social distancing.
