You can take the easy option and stay in one of our cosy wooden camping pods - the sure way to stay dry in the admittedly unpredictable Lake District weather. We've got pods in the woodland or close to the lake.

Providing an attractive, dry and spacious camping space, the pods are all tucked away in special spots dotted around the campsite, not too far away from the facility blocks. We've got several options, including a new fully accessible furnished pod, and 2 new lakeshore furnished pods to make your stay even more comfortable.

They all have double-glazed windows and French doors and are designed to cut down the noise made by heavy rain. For the colder months, there's sheep wool insulation inside the walls for winter warmth, and when it's hot, there's a special foil layer under the roof to keep summer temperatures down

What you need to bring

Think of a pod as a replacement for your tent. You'll need to bring everything you would bring if you were camping in your tent, such as a sleeping bag, sleep mat, pots and pans, stove and camping chairs. As a minimum, we provide mattresses although some campers still like to put their sleeping mat on top. The fully accessible lake view pod is fully furnished and some pods provide more than others - be sure to read the pod description closely before booking.

Pod prices per night

You'll find an exact price when you search your requirements and availability online. Prices include 1 parking space. The lowest pod price quoted is low season, mid week, and highest is peak season weekends. Mid weeks are almost always quieter and always lower priced.
