Midlands talks service

Audience members listening to a talk

The talks service provides speakers who deliver talks to a host of different community clubs, societies and groups on a range of subjects linked to the National Trust.

If you'd like to book a speaker to come and talk about the National Trust and our places, all we ask is for the expenses of the volunteer to be covered, plus a donation towards the conservation work of the National Trust.

If you are interested in a more general talk, for example on: the History of the National Trust; Gardens in the Midlands; National Trust Countryside; National Trust Literary Connections; or Caring for Contents, and are based in the east of the Midlands then please contact our Business Support Office on 01246 599430 or by email

" Audiences are always interested to hear about how and why properties are cared for and some 'behind the scenes' detail."
- Richard Moisey

If you would like a talk that is about an aspect of a particular property then please contact that property directly. Each property will have a variety of talks they can offer on different subjects and stories relating to that place.
