Solo exhibition:
Neil Davies

22 July – 10 September 2017

Neil Davies has been painting the Penwith landscape for nearly 20 years – and it’s also been the subject of his exhibition at Trelissick Gallery. The landscape continues to inspire his work, with the changing seasons and varied weather, drawing his attention to different elements of the landscape – from the yellow glow of windswept gorse to crashing waves in a winter storm.

Solo exhibition:
Mike Hindle

20 May – 11 June 2017

Mike Hindle marked his return to Cornwall with a new exhibition of paintings at the Trelissick Gallery. From his new studio window, Mike has a wide vista to Cornish coast, inspiring many of his recent paintings. Speaking about his work, Mike said, “I like my subject matter to be simple, to allow me to concentrate on balancing layers of colour, and the relationship between sea, sky and land.”

Ben Taffinder, Andrew Tozer and Philip Lyons
3 artists explore Cornwall’s inspirational coastline
25 March – 23 April 2017

Inspired by Cornwall’s dramatic coastline, the Coast exhibition brought together three artists: Philip Lyons, Ben Taffinder and Andrew Tozer. All three artists live within a few miles of the sea, with the colour, light and form of the ocean informing their work. In this exhibition, each artist explored their experience and fascination with the coast in their own unique style.
