The Trelissick 10K is taking a break for 2017 so that the park can have a rest and the Trelissick team can focus on vital conservation work.
Trelissick welcomes runners to this multi-terrain race around the estate and gardens. The funds from this event go towards conserving the specal landscape the runners enjoy as they take on the challenges of this undulating course. Historic parkland, ancient oaks, the River Fal and estuary, as well as Trelissick's gardens, are all in view to distract from the muscle burn.
Here's your sneak preview of the route (PDF / 0.4MB) download With plenty of twists and turns, this event needs lots of help from generous volunteers willing to give up a bit of their time to marshal, hand out goody bags, man the water stations and plenty more. If you fancy getting involved or are interested in becoming a part of the National Trust's West Cornwall Volunteer Events Team, Alice would love to hear from you, email@example.com
Trelissick makes a perfect race venue and host to a whole day's worth of exploring. Crofters cafe stays open into the evening for this event, so runners and their spectators can refuel on hot and cold treats.
The 2016 event was held on Saturday 20 August at 6.30pm. For more event information, please see 2016's application form (PDF / 0.5MB) download . We'll update you with next year's details soon...
