Please note, we're not currently able to recruit new volunteers but hope to be able to soon. Current vacancies can be found by clicking the link below.

Hay Wain 200 Stewards and Tour Guides

Help our visitors to experience the iconic views that inspired John Constable's landscapes as we celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Hay Wain.

Meet and Greet Volunteer

Make our visitor's day special by providing a great welcome to Flatford.

Tea Room Host

Welcome our visitors with a warm and friendly smile and help with the smooth running of the Flatford Tea Room.

Car Park Stewards

Work with volunteers and staff to manage the parking of cars on peak days, such as weekends and bank holidays.  You will need to chat to visitors, answer their questions and point them in the direction of the Welcome Hut. This enjoyable role will suit people who like being on their feet, working in the open and talking to visitors.
