Please book ahead before visiting Greenway
The car park, garden and toilets at Greenway are open and you need to
book tickets before you visit. Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. We'll be releasing tickets every Friday. Please note we’ll be turning people away who arrive and haven't booked. We're looking forward to welcoming you back.

Start:
Manor Inn, Galmpton
1
From the Manor Inn follow Greenway Road through Galmpton, passing the village hall and school, heading towards Greenway. Continue until you pass the caravan park, where you will turn right onto Mill Lane.
2
Follow Mill Lane until you reach a junction, where you take the left fork onto Hook Bottom Lane, following signs to Greenway.
3
Continue down Hook Bottom Lane through gate into field. The footpath crosses small stream and heads up to Greenway Road, coming out at the railway halt.
Railway tunnel
As you reach Greenway Road look out for the railway tunnel which passes underneath Greenway estate, and was part of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's railway route from Paignton to Dartmouth (although it only ever made it as far as Kingswear).
4
Cross the road and enter Down Copse. Follow the green waymarkers through the woodland to Greenway car park.
5
Follow the path through the car park, and follow the driveway to Greenway Visitor Reception.
Greenway drive
Take a moment to enjoy the views over the River Dart from Greenway drive. The driveway is at its best in spring, when camellias, rhododendrons and spring bulbs.
