Come and join us for May half term (May 27 to June 4) when we will have lots of 50 things to do before you're 11¾ workshops, trails and craft activities.

50 things to do before your 11 ¾

This is a list created by the National Trust to encourage young adventurers to explore the great outdoors. This May half term Ham House will have plenty of activities on offer so your little ones can tick off as many of their 50 things as possible. 

Dilys the dog escapes trail

Dilys the black labrador belongs to our Head Gardener Rosie, and she’s managed to escape! Dilys has been exploring the Ham House gardens. Track where Dilys has visited by finding her paw prints and complete a 50 things challenge at each stop.

Trail costs £2 with a prize and suitable for ages 3 and up.

Plant it, grow it, eat it workshops

During the weekdays (May 29 to June 2) we will be having plant it, grow it, eat it drop-in workshops in the Dairy from 1-3pm. Tick off no. 41 on your 50 things list by planting some seeds and taking them home for you to watch grow and later eat.

Craft activities 

Children can tick off no. 18 on your 50 things list by making some wild art in our Education Room below stairs. 

Below stairs is open for freeflow between 12pm and 4pm daily, with last entry at 3:30pm.
