This new National Nature Reserve is one of the King’s Series of NNRs, bringing together our region's most precious heathlands and endangered species into one extraordinary sanctuary for nature recovery. Visiting the Surrey Hills with your dog 

With a variety of waymarked trails through heathland and woodland, Hindhead Commons is an ideal place for a stroll with your dog. To protect our wildlife, please stick to the paths and keep your dog on a lead throughout the year.
