50 things outdoor adventure this autumn
Explore the outdoors, learn new skills and push yourself to try something new.
Pick up a free copy of the 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ booklet from visitor reception and see how many activities you can tick off.
Whether it’s at Kedleston Hall or in your own back garden, there’s plenty of inspiration on the 50 things list. You can try and tackle these ones next time you pay us a visit:
- Catch a falling leaf
- Play conkers
- Build a den
- Run around in the rain (should the typical British weather catch you off guard)
- Fly a kite
- Make a trail with sticks
- Create some wild art (even if it means collecting your wild components and getting arty at home)
- Make a grass trumpet
- Hold a scary beast (remember to be gentle)
- Hunt for bugs
- Go bird watching.
We expect you’ll be exploring further afield, so check out the 50 things full activity list to see what else you can do.
