Heritage Open Days 2018

Heritage Open Days are back, and for the first time ever it will take place over two long weekends: 6-9 September and 13-16 September. This annual festival celebrates our diverse history, architecture and culture, offering you the chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences - all for free. Heritage Open Day 

For this year's Heritage Open Day, we will be teaming up with Tintagel Women's Institute to celebrate female writers with links to the local area. The free exhibition will be held in the Women's Institute hall next door to Tintagel Old Post Office on Saturday 15 September. The buildings have a shared heritage - they were once part of the same farm. Nowadays, the W.I. hall is a place for crafts, coffee, cake and conversation.
