Spotting bird prints
This print was made by a pheasant.
Pheasant tracks are one of the easier options as they are larger than those of most other birds, and pheasants also spend most of their time on the ground so you can keep an eye out for them as you wander through wooded areas.
Peacocks also leave a very large print, similar to the pheasant.
The peacock prints are slightly longer and thinner than the pheasants. Peacocks are harder to find as they aren't as prevalent in the wild as pheasants. To have a go at spotting peacock prints we recommend visiting Newark Park, where a family of peacocks live.
