Spend your summer at Longshaw

We’ve planned something for you to do every day of the summer holidays so you can keep coming back again and again to try something different.

This article is about summer at Longshaw 2017. For details of what's on in 2018, please email peakdistrict@nationaltrust.org.uk or call 01433 631757.

We are celebrating World Ranger Day on 31st July and Bogtastic! on 16th August. There are climbing and orienteering events in August and a trail every day- you can decide whether to climb a big hill or try out Longshaw's new permanent orienteering course.

We’re throwing open the gates and doors of the Moorland Discovery Centre every day in August (except Wednesdays) for you to help yourself to sporty or nature kit for the day and we’ll be leading sporty sessions on Tuesdays, wildlife sessions on Saturdays and wild art sessions on Sundays, for just £2 per person.

On Wednesdays, you'll be able to meet the rangers and find out about what they do and how they look after Longshaw and its wildlife.
