Tearoom at Melford Hall in the 1950s kitchen

Melford Hall has a variety of places to enjoy your afternoon tea or a lunchtime snack.

Our tea room, situated in the 1950s kitchen, is always ready to serve mouth-watering sandwiches and cakes. This year we are making our own scones and have started by offering fruit or cheese. We feel sure that you will enjoy our freshly baked scones.

On a warm sunny day enjoy your  tea in the garden, soaking in the atmosphere, or sit on a picnic rug as the children play with one of our story bags. When the weather gets colder move into the Park room and enjoy the view of the old deer park.

Our friendly tearoom staff will be happy to bring it out to you.

As you leave Melford Hall do not forget to visit our gate lodge shop, which in the past was home to a family of eight. A select range of mementos and Beatrix Potter soft toys will remind you of Melford Hall.
