Head out into the parkland along the Carriageway path, past wildflower meadows and up to Obelisk Lodge. You can turn left for the green trail, which is great for little legs, and turn right to whizz round a few more twists and turns on the blue trail.

Both of these sections are for bikes only, approximately 1km long each and a great way to explore outdoors in every season. Whether you’re surrounded by spring bluebells or wheeling under colourful autumn canopies, you’ll be ready for a slice of cake in the café afterwards.
