Head to Nunnington Hall this February half-term and join in with fun activities as we get ready for spring!

Saturday 15 February - Sunday 23 February

February is the perfect time to find out more about birds that live around your home and garden. Wrap up and explore the garden each day with the Brilliant Birds family trail to learn more about the birds you probably see every day, and a few tips on how to spot some of the lesser known.

The team at Nunnington will be on hand to show you how to build your own bird box, just in time for the nesting season. Or maybe a 'Nest Gatherer' to help bird create the most comfortable nest - a great way to recycle tumble dryer fluff and dog fur!

At this time of year, life can be tough for birds. A cold snap can mean they need more energy just to keep warm, and the short days leave less time to find food. Give them hand by making a bird feeder – another great way to encourage birds to visit your garden.
