Easter fun at Osterley Park and House
Connect with nature at Osterley Park and House this Easter. With the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt in the gardens, Family Gardening Club in the Little Veg Garden and Craft Cart in the Stables Walled Garden there’s plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.
Join the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt
Osterley is home to a variety of birds, and this is the time of year when they are laying their eggs. Bring the whole family and explore the Great Meadow to find the wooden bird eggs. Then head to the Stables Walled Garden to collect your Cadbury’s chocolate prize. The Great Meadow can get muddy and doesn't have any paths, so make sure to wear weather appropriate shoes.
Running from Saturday 6 April – Monday 22 April, 10am-4pm. Last entry to the gardens is 4.30pm. Normal admission to the House and Garden applies, National Trust members and under 5's go free. Click here to find out more about our prices. Easter Egg Hunt £3 including a delicious Cadbury chocolate treat, available whilst stocks last.
In the House
Discover the historic menagerie at Osterley. The building is no longer there, but traces of it are visible all over the House. See beautiful watercolour prints of the birds which were housed in the Menagerie. We’ve rolled back the carpet in the Tapestry Room to allow a rare opportunity to see the beautiful hangings up close.
Normal admission to the House and Garden applies. The House is open for tours only from 11am-12noon. Free-flow admission to the House is from 12noon-4pm, with last entry at 3pm.
Family Gardening Club
Bring the family and your green fingers, getting hands on with planting in the Little Veg Garden. We'll be planting up the beds with lots of seeds for the year and doing maintenance on the beds we planted up over February half-term. Once you’ve helped us you can tick no. 41, Plant it, grow it, eat it off your 50 Things list.
Friday 12 April, 11am – 3pm in the Little Veg Garden. Normal admission applies, National Trust members and under 5's go free.
On Thursday 5 and Thursday 12 April we'll be getting creative with craft activities, perfect to keep those little fingers busy. With different craft activities each week of the school holidays you can become a craft cart regular.
Thursday 11 & 18 April, 12 – 4pm. Free, normal admission applies.
We’ve got bikes for all ages available to hire from £3. Why not explore our cycle trails as a group and see the beautiful 18th century vistas. Or test your skills in the cycle skills areas before heading off around the estate.
