Easter fun at Osterley Park and House
Connect with nature at Osterley Park and House this Easter. With the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt in the house and gardens, Family Gardening Club in the Little Veg Garden and craft activities daily, there’s plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt: join the Easter Bunny's party
The Easter Bunny is holding an Easter party for all of his rabbit friends at Osterley this year, and you're invited. See if you can find the Easter Bunny's friends in the house, and search in the gardens to find the hidden eggs and unscramble the secret party password, with activities along the way. Join the party to play games, make Easter crafts and collect your chocolate prize. With our Stables Café, natural play trail and baby change facilities it's easy to spend the whole day here.
Make your way to garden kiosk on arrival to purchase your trail, then explore the house and gardens before heading to the Easter Bunny's party. Last year the National Trust raised £940,000 from Cadbury Easter Egg hunt sales alone. By taking part in our Easter trail you help us take care of Osterley Park and House, providing a beautiful place for people and protecting nature.
Running from Friday 30 March – Sunday 15 April, 10am-4pm. Last entry to the gardens is 4.30pm. Normal admission applies, National Trust members and under 5's go free. Easter Egg Hunts £3 including a delicious Cadbury chocolate treat.
Family Gardening Club
Bring the family and your green fingers, getting hands on with planting in the Little Veg Garden. We'll be planting up the beds with lots of seeds for the year and doing maintenance on the beds we planted up over February half-term. Once you’ve helped us you can tick No. 41 plant it, grow it, eat it off your 50 Things list.
Friday 6 and Friday 13 April, 11am – 3pm in the Little Veg Garden. Normal admission applies, National Trust members and under 5's go free.
The wider esate
Outside of the gardens there’s plenty of natural beauty to discover, and exciting ways to get there. Our multi-purpose pathways go all around the estate, perfect for a spring bike ride. If you’re looking for a challenge why not test your skills in our cycle skills areas? Our ranger team have been clearing the historic vistas from the far side of the garden lake, so take a walk along Osterley lane and see the blend of natural and man-made beauty.
After your walk you can recharge with a visit to the Stables Café or the Brewhouse Coffee Shop. Selling hot lunch, cream teas, hot drinks and sandwiches even the fussiest eater will find something to enjoy. If you want to bring a picnic our front lawn is the perfect location for families to rest or play before continuing their Easter adventure.
