National Trust Osterley Cafe
Whether you have been exploring the gardens, admiring the Robert Adam house or completed a parkrun, we have a range of food, beverage and retail outlets all based in Thomas Gresham’s Tudor Stables.
The Stables Cafe is open daily from 10am-5pm, located at the centre of the Stables Courtyard. We serve breakfast from 10am-11.30am and then lunch is served from 12noon. We serve a selection of hot main meals as well as smaller portions, perfect for the kids. Most of what we serve is handmade from scratch, often with organic produce from our Tudor Walled Garden taking centre stage along with our Bronze Food for Life Award. With regularly changing menus, we reflect the seasons whilst keeping our favourites like Victoria Sponge, warming soups and a great jacket potato.
As well as seating in the Stable Courtyard at the front, our secluded Café Terrace offers extra seating within the Tudor walls, perfect for warmer Summer days. We hope you enjoy our dog friendly indoor seating area in the rear Stables, where we offer not only a space to escape any sudden showers, but also a tasty sausage for your canine friend.
Brewhouse Café and Ice Cream Parlour
Open seasonally from 9.30am
Tucked in a bright corner of the Stables, the Brewhouse Café sits in what was the Tudor Brewhouse, where vast amounts of ales and beers would be brewed for all those who lived and worked at Osterley Park. As a nod to our brewing past, we work with Scotney Castle - the only working hop farm in the National Trust - to offer a range of beers, from pale ales to bitters, to drink in or take home.
Today this large room is a grab-and-go Café, serving delightful cakes, treats and barista coffees. Our Brewhouse brunch is favourite with our regulars, whether as a well-earned treat after that 5k parkrun or a just because it’s the weekend. For summer, you'll find the Brewhouse as a pop up ice cream parlour, serving delicious Judes ice cream by the cone or tub - with a chocolate flake!
