Summer of Sport
Get the whole family active at Osterley this summer. Enjoy a favourite game or have a go at something new on the Front Lawn. Hire a bike and try out the cycle skills area, or have a go at Boccia. With different activities available across the summer, there’ll be something fun for everyone to try.
Get creative with craft activities suitable for little fingers. Join is in the Stables Walled Garden on Thursdays in the school holidays from 12noon-4pm. Why not pop into the shop afterwards to see our collection of children’s games and books?

Family Gardening Club
Tick off number 41 from the list of 50 things to do before you’re 11 &3/4 and by dropping into Family Gardening Club on Fridays in the school holidays and helping a plant grow. We’ll be maintain and harvesting all summer from 11am-3pm, so there’ll be loads to get stuck into.

Designing with Nature
Discover how Robert Adam was inspired by nature when he was designing Osterley House. Follow our family trail around the principle floor and see how nature has come inside. Then head into the gardens and see the newly-conserved Robert Adam Garden House, built to house beautiful plants in the heart of Mrs Child’s Flower Garden. £1 per trail.

From building a den to watching birds, your next adventure awaits. Experience ‘50 things to do before you’re 11¾’ with the whole family at Osterley this summer. Visit the Garden Kiosk to pick up an activity list and choose your adventure. There’s loads to do, so visit regularly to tick off everything on the list.

Eat, Drink & Shop
The Stables Café is open daily with a selection of hot and cold drinks, lunches, light bites, sandwiches and cakes, including a children’s menu. Ice creams are available from the Brewhouse Café and the Stables Shop. The Shop is open daily 11am-5pm, with a selection of children’s toys, books, garden decoration, food & drink and gifts. The Second Hand Bookshop is open every day from 11am-4.45pm, and has a children’s section, as well as a selection of plants grown at Osterley available for you to buy.
Pop into the Tudor Stables courtyard to refuel in one of our cafes. Whether you're looking for a sweet treat or a hot lunch we've got lots of options to choose from.
