The Pleasure Grounds at Osterley

Osterley Park's formal gardens were transformed during a six year long project from an overgrown wilderness back to their 18th century grandeur of herbaceous borders, roses and ornamental vegetables beds.

Osterley's formal gardens start to come alive in the Spring, with pockets of colour popping up under trees and scattered across the lawns. Daffodils take the center stage as swathes of yellow burst onto the scene.

Primroses bloom by the Temple of Pan with rare magnolias scenting the air. Beautiful cherry blossom appears in the Winter Garden, providing a colourful contrast to the frosty scenes only a few months ago.

Soon the roses will start to bloom and the gardener's will begin planting out the Ornamental Vegetable Garden, having worked with the Stables cafe team to work out which produce can be used on their summer menu. And if you're feeling peckish after all that, don’t forget to pop into the Stables Café afterwards and try something new off the Spring menu.
