A garden full of surprises 

Clinging to a cliff-top above the Salcombe Estuary this sub-tropical garden paradise has unusual plants from all round the globe. Terraced to take full advantage of it's stunning location every pathway reveals something new and unexpected to delight the senses.

The garden at Overbeck's is filled with fun waiting to be had by families. You can complete some of the '50 things to do before you’re 11¾’ here, create a journey stick, and watch boats on the sea.

East Soar to Overbeck's Garden walk 

This trail leads you along the runway of what used to be RAF Bolt Head to Overbeck's Garden, with panoramic views of the South Hams coast and countryside. Please be aware that you will need to pre-book your visit..

Hot drinks, lunches and ice-cream from the Gastrobox

Tasty Takeaways 

Gastrobox will be at Overbeck’s Garden on open days, 10.30am-3.30pm, offering a variety of hot and cold drinks including barista coffee, freshly made baguettes, pasties, sausage rolls and vegan pies. Local ice-cream and a cream tea in a box too. Gastrobox take card payments only. You’ll find them outside the Garden, positioned opposite the entrance gates, visible from entrance and South West Coast Path - so visitors to the garden and those walking the coast path can enjoy takeaway refreshments.
