Unmissable outdoor theatre this summer

An audience enjoying outdoor theatre

Make your summer one to remember. Grab a picnic, find your spot and sit back as two classic love stories by William Shakespeare and Jane Austen are brought to life, all against the stunning backdrop of Rufford Old Hall. The only question is, who will you go with?

Please note, both performances are now SOLD OUT.

Each performance will take place on our Beech Walk Paddock, surrounded by beautiful trees and the gentle calm of the Leeds & Liverpool canal. Sounds perfect, doesn't it? But while everyone knows us Northerners are made of sterner stuff, it might get a little chilly in the evening so make sure you wear plenty of layers.

Seating is not provided, so we recommend bringing a comfortable blanket. We have toilet facilities, including an accessible toilet and baby changing station, and free parking will be available on-site too. If you need to know anything else, just send us an email to ruffordoldhall@nationaltrust.org.uk

For each performance, tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £12.50 for children.
