Between Christmas and New Year

A couple walk along lime avenue underneath festoon lights

The presents have been opened, everyone’s eaten one too many mince pies and you’re not quite sure what day it is. Make the most of your time off between Christmas and New Year at Saltram.

What's happening this Christmas?

Following the impact of the coronavirus crisis, which has affected almost every aspect of our income we are sad to say that unfortunately Saltram will not be running Enchanted Saltram in 2020. Enchanted Saltram has been a great fundraiser for Saltram over the past four years and has meant we have been able to do even more conservation work within the park, garden and house. This is mostly down to our local community who have supported Enchanted Saltram and visited time and time again each year, for this we are very thankful.

Go on a bike ride or have a go on the 'pump track'

Bring your bike (it might be the new one Father Christmas bought you) and cycle through rolling parkland, along the Plym estuary, past ancient oaks and summer flower meadows. Try the pump track - designed for children to build confidence and learn new skills on two wheels. This cycle trail is perfect for families, young children, and those new to cycling, the terrain is largely flat with one steep hill.
