There's so much to do with your friends on a group visit to Saltram, from learning, relaxing, walking and not forgetting tea and cake. Below is some introductory information about group visits to Saltram. If you would like to book or require more information please call the property office.
Things you need to know
Make sure you complete and return a booking form before bringing a group.
Coach parking is provided in our disabled visitor car park. This space is limited so please enquire before arriving.
The house is approximately 150 yards from the Welcome Centre.
An on-board welcome can be provided on arrival.
Entry to the house between 11am-12.30pm isn’t available for advance bookings. Last entry to the house is at 3.30pm, to give reasonable time for viewing.
We are happy to welcome groups on most days, however there are some occasions such as Bank Holidays and event weekends when unfortunately we are unable to take bookings.
Groups of over 15 people are charged at the discounted group rate (please see the prices page of the Saltram website).
For groups less than 15, current admission prices are applicable and can be found on the prices page of the Saltram website.
The Park Café offer a range of snacks and light lunches, or if you would rather take tea the old fashioned way visit the Chapel Tea-room with bone china and waitress service. To avoid long queues we recommend that groups visit the Park Café or Chapel Tea-room on a free-flow basis. Should you wish to visit either facility as a whole group, please contact the Park Café direct on 01752 333523.
The shop stocks a great range of gifts, cards, books, home and garden ware as well as food and drink. Don't miss the beautiful blooms in the plant sales area within the Stables Courtyard.

Most of the ground floor of the House is accessible by wheelchair. The first floor is not accessible for wheelchairs. There are images available of those areas not accessible to wheelchair users.
The Garden has a wheelchair friendly route; the map is available from the Welcome Centre.
All of the Park Café and the Chapel Tea-room’s ground floor is accessible to wheelchair users.
Most of the paths around the Estate are wheelchair accessible.
We welcome schools to Saltram for self-led visits or pre-booked led visits by the Saltram volunteer and staff team each year. Schools can visit Saltram for free with an Educational Group Membership.
