Hurray for half term

Three children lie in orange autumn leaves

At this time of year, darkness isn’t the only time for fiendish fun. All of our Hallowe’en happenings are during the daytime, for all the family to enjoy this October half-term.

A few dates to pop in your diary

  • Monday meet at the den building area for some forest school fun and make a broomstick!
  • Thursday, the gardeners ask you to bring your pumpkins in to be carved…maybe you planted one with us back in the spring or maybe it’s a bought one...Either way lets get ready for halloween and carve spooky faces!
  • Friday join 'Mister Storyfella' as he tells some scary stories in the Orangery.
  • Saturday Spooky Tours - CANCELLED.

All activities are between 1-4 and normal admission applies. Members and Under 5’s FREE.

Trick or trails?

All week you will be able to go on a 'Pesky Pumpkin Trail' in the garden or the 'Moving House' trail in the house, just pick up a trail sheet on arrival.

Or if you're visiting the park pick up an Awesome Autumn or Top Trunks trail sheet for £2 and earn a very special wooden medal!
