When is the best time to visit?

We've created a handy visit planner that will tell you when our less busy, moderately busy, peak and super peak days and times are. We hope this will help you plan your visit and find time the best day and time to suit you and your family.

What else do I need to know?

Enchanted Saltram sees the garden lit up like never before, with a tunnel of fairy lights and a chance to party down Lime Avenue, there's fun to be had all evening. The house is decorated with magical fairy tales that take you through the beautiful Georgian interiors.

When is Enchanted Saltram open?

The house opens daily from 12noon until last admission at 7.15pm, the illuminations begin at dusk. For full opening times and details, click here.

Is Enchanted Saltram wheelchair friendly?

Wheelchair access to the house is limited to 4 of the 7 decorated rooms (Entrance Hall, Staircase Hall, Saloon, Dining Room), staff on the door will assist you with directions. Electric wheelchairs can be accommodated depending on their size. Mobility scooters are not permitted in the house. The illuminated garden is accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters, with no steps or steep inclines. Please use our busy planner to plan your visit around the busiest times or to make use of the Mobiloo on Tuesday 17th December.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in the house or gardens.

How much does it cost to visit Enchanted Saltram?

National Trust members and under 5s can visit for free, otherwise our usual admission prices apply which can be found here.
