Book your visit to Stoneywell
Due to its small size all visitors to Stoneywell, including members of the National Trust, need to book in advance.

Frequently asked questions about booking online -
I have to book into a time slot - what exactly am I booking?
The time slot you are booking for is an arrival time into the car park; for instance, if you book into the 10.00-11.00 slot, you can arrive at the car park anytime between 10 and 11 o'clock. The arrival time has no bearing on the time of your tour of the cottage (tours usually run every 20 minutes) or a time to leave Stoneywell. When you arrive at the car park, the shuttle bus will be on hand to take you to the property where a member of the team will organise a house tour at a time that best suits you. If you want to explore the gardens or indulge in the tearoom before going round the house, it's no trouble to book you on to a later house tour but we ask that you still arrive within the hour's slot that you've booked in to.
I'd like to book for a particular date online but there isn't a list of times to choose from.
The booking website only shows available time slots for that day so, if no times are showing, unfortunately we're fully booked on that day and have no spaces available.
How can I book my visit via email?
We can certainly book your visit via email - please sent the following information to email@example.com:
- Preferred date of visit and arrival time
- Number of people in the group
- Contact number
- Vehicle registration number
How can I book my visit over the telephone?
We recommend that you book online as far as possible, as our telephone lines are often busy. However, please do not hesitate to give us a call on our booking line (01530 248048, option 3) and, if we can't take your call, leave a message and a member of the team will call you back as soon as they can.
Please note that our booking line is managed by a team of volunteers, from 10.00 until 16.00 every day.
