Make the most of the warmer summer weather and extra hours of daylight with an evening of open air entertainment set in the beautiful surrounds of the South Lawn at Stourhead.

Join the Three Inch Fools as they dust off their instruments and step back into the great outdoors with two productions at Stourhead this summer: Twelfth Night and The Gunpowder Plot. 

Twelfth Night by the Three Inch Fools

Twelfth Night - 12 & 26 August, 7pm

Prepare for an evening of mischief and hilarity, as five actors present an inventive take on this rip-roaring comedy, fit for all the family. Touring the UK this summer, this Shakespearean classic will be getting the full Three Inch Fools treatment: expect fast-paced drama, endless costume changes, and much music-making along the way! Ticket price ranges from £0 - £18.

The Gunpowder Plot by the Three Inch Fools

The Gunpowder Plot - 13 & 27 August, 7pm

Cue an explosive evening of short fuses and tall tales, as five actors try to pull off the most infamous conspiracy in history. This summer, touring the UK, The Gunpowder Plot comes to life in a brand new, calamitous production fit for all the family. Expect uproarious intrigue, endless costume changes, and many, many false moustaches in this highly flammable historical tale. Ticket prices range from £0 - £18.

Plan your evening

The performances will take place on the South Lawn next to the house at Stourhead. Bring your own cushions and camping-chairs and join us on our outdoor adventure. Come prepared for the weather - the performance will continue come rain come shine!

These are an outdoor performances, with social-distancing measures in place. We recommend that you bring blankets/chairs/cushions etc. to sit on. We ask that you don’t bring umbrellas as these can obscure the view for other people in the audience. 7pm start time, picnics welcome from 6pm. The performances will last approximately 120 minutes (+ a 20 minute interval).
